I don't know what version of OpenOffice you are using, and on which system version.
I just want to share an issue with you, in case you face it too.
All the documents have been created on Fedora Core 2. The problem is the vertical spacing of the Nimbus Roman No9 L font has increased significantly in Fedora Core 3, which makes some text flow out of its original boundaries. Other GNU/Linux distributions may be impacted too.
I checked that this is not a bug, but a change in the font sources, so I will have to adapt to this, by reducing font size or by choosing another font. You may have to do this too.
Doing this change can take a significant amount of time for each document, unfortunately, as I often had to adjust font size by hand. I mean that's not just globally changing a default font size attribute.
