Cher Jean-Christophe,
Thank you for forwarding your reply and for checking on TP project's status. I apologize for not subscribing to the list, my only excuse is that as a Translation Team lead for Sugar Labs / OLPC, I am tracking over 130 languages and dialects as well as performing outreach to the needed upstream efforts. I was planning to follow up by checking the list archives on the web (if they are open).
I do track the TP projects here;
http://translate.sugarlabs.org/fr/upstream_l10n/
These are not PO files for translation, I have twisted the arm of the PO structure to make them serve as tracking tickets for upstream projects.
We also host some PO files on behalf of AbiWord and GNASH upstreams: http://translate.sugarlabs.org/fr/upstream_POT/
and we do have some Sugar French strings that still need attention in various projects: http://translate.sugarlabs.org/fr/
Thank you for all of your work on the upstream. You and your team-mates are welcome to join our Poolte server to contribute and you can meet our L10n community on our list:

Warmest Regards,

Chris,
As far as I can tell only the following packages are not up to date:
libidn 49 / 58 popt 24 / 29 sudo 0/147
The other one that looks out of date is grep but I updated it a few minutes ago (I was supposed to have done that earlier this week but I made a mistake when I sent my file to the robot).
Regarding sudo, I was supposed to work on it but it was agreed to leave the translation to the person who is working on the Debian man page. I fear he is busy right now and after checking the file I found the contents a little bit harder than what I can do with confidence. So we'll have to find somebody else.
Jean-Christophe

Dear French localizers of the Translation Project,
We are using the following files in a downstream build that will be widely deployed on XO laptops, including to Francophone Africa.
Could you please give them some attention?
