Greetings,
We have a new Italian translation on http://free-electrons.com/training/intro_unix_linux. Many thanks to Gianluca for the translation!
By the way, you may have noticed that the documents have all been converted to the new OpenDocument format supported by OpenOffice.org 2.0 and 1.1.5 (coming soon).
The advantages are:
* Using OOo 2.0 helps with testing and making it a better product (see reported bugs on http://free-electrons.com/community/pendingbugs) * PDF documents exported with OOo 2.0 now preserve hyperlinks. Take any PDF reader, click on the links and a web browser opens with the linked page! This makes documents much more useful. * You can check your documents for possible outdated hyperlinks with the http://free-electrons.com/community/tools/utils/coool utility. * People will be able to open the documents with other programs supporting this new standard format.
Don't worry, OpenOffice.org 2.0beta2 is now pretty stable.
Cheers,
Michael.
