Hello French translators
Hi,
Last month we were doing a presentation for Stade Toulousain rugby club. They were pretty interested in Chronojump but most of their trainers don't understand English and French version it's 72% update.
Sure, we can work on that. The issue is that you don't announce your string freezes and releases on the gnome-i18n mailing list, so we don't know when the best time to work on the translation is. We usually don't touch a module during its development phase because then strings may change and our work will be wasted.
I see that you contacted Daniel of the Spanish team for a similar reason earlier this year. Please note that a week before the release is quite a short notice and we would appreciate at least two weeks of freeze, and it would be even better if you could make an announcement earlier than that (even without the freeze) so that we could plan accordingly.
I know you will be very busy with the important packages like GNOME or GIMP, but do you have plans on updating Chronojump translation?
Now that GNOME 3.16.2 is out the door, we have less work on that side of things. I'll see what I can do to get this done soon.
