New PO file for `util-linux-2.11k'

Please translate the remaining messages for the benefit of users of the French language. A ce sujet, je viens de reposter sur howto(a)traduc.org la version 2.0 (Mai 1999) de GCC-HOWTO écrite en DocBook. Il n'y en a pas de plus recente sur le site du LDP (http://www.linuxdoc.org). Relue par Fred Petillot, nous avons achevé le travail en Février dernier, mais le document n'était pas paru pour une raison que j'ignore. D'autre part, j'aimerais reprendre également PARALLEL-PROCESSING-HOWTO si Christophe Pernod ne le maintient plus ! J'avais déjà traduit ce document aux trois quarts avant de connaitre le projet de traduction, ce qui nous promettrait une sortie rapide de cet excellent document. Enfin, dans la liste des howtos, serait-il possible de changer mon adresse email de obsidian(a)citeweb.net vers dvandenbroeck(a)free.fr au niveau de la fiche de From-Powerup-To-Bash-Prompt ? Citeweb a une politique désormais complètement différente de la mienne et leurs serveurs sont trop souvent indisponibles. Merci pour tout ! -------------------------------------------------------

nouveau site de traductions

Bonjour à tous ! Comme certains le savent déjà, je rêve depuis quelque temps d'un site consacré aux pages de man non-ldp. J'ai donc créé un site sur http://www.delafond.org/traducmanfr consacré à la chose. Je souhaite, après avis des experts que vous êtes, que ce site soit référencé sur traduc.org. J'ai déjà contacté Christophe Blaess pour qu'on se synchronise. Il est d'accord. Dès que tout le monde est d'accord, je médiatise. Restent à faire : un site sur les pages info (quoique le langage utilisé est difficile à traduire, si j'ai bien compris) et un site sur les programmes n'appartenant pas à un projet important (xboard, xpaint, xephem, xvidtune, etc.) Qui est volontaire ? Je reste un peu en rade depuis quelques temps mais je ne perds pas espoir. S'il y a d'autres traducteurs de docs GNU, je suis preneur pour partager les outils et trucs et astuces. En effet, la traduction de fichiers TexInfo n'est pas au top, vu que le support latin1 n'y est pas poussé. En ce moment, j'essaie aussi de monter un petit système pour faciliter la traduction et la maintenance de documents "multilangues", en mélangeant toutes les langues dans le même fichier source, et en utilisant un filtre pour obtenir les différentes docs dans les différentes langues. Le BIG problème est que ce système nécessite l'aval (et la coopération) de l'auteur de la doc. Pour ceux que ce système intéresse, ils pourront jeter un oeil au projet http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/dbmanual , aussi bien dans les CVS Sources que HTML. Enfin, le projet ci-dessus est une documentation sur le format DocBook. J'espère qu'il pourra intéresser un certain nombre d'entre vous. Étant encore à l'état de "développement", plus les retours seront nombreux, mieux ce sera. -- Philippe Martin

A small problem

Hello Just want to make you aware that despite sending the translation of gas...fr.po the translation matrix does not reflect it, ie no pourcentage appears in the Fr column Thanks in advance Best regards Michel Robitaille

New team leader

Coordination de la traduction des messages des programmes GNU

Bonjour, Y'aurait-il quelqu'un qui voudrait reprendre la tâche que m'avait transmise Eric Dumas que je décrirai ainsi "faire l'interface avec le GNU translation project(*) pour coordonner le travail des différents traducteurs des messages des programmes GNU". En gros, il suffit de faire la pub de la traduction des messages des programmes GNU (ça se présente sous forme de fichiers .po) pour recruter de nouveaux traducteurs et quand quelqu'un se propose pour se charger d'un programme, envoyer un message sur la bonne liste pour que le robot accepte de lui parler. J'ai trop de choses à faire, donc cela serait plus profitable à tout le monde que quelqu'un d'autre que moi puisse s'en charger...
