I know Stéphane and we had long talks about his candidature. He is a regular translator and is implied in vertimus development. He has good relationship with the French Ubuntu team.

I'd be also very happy to see Stéphane lead the french translation effort and I'm glad to have Benoît back on board too. I will happily resume my work as a translator/proof reader as soon as the new team is in place.
