Hello,
I'm making significant changes and improvements to my training slides,
and it's really slowing me down to write down every little change that
I'm making. Even writing the names of the slides that change is too much.
See the current state of the ChangeLog file, to see that changes are way
too numerous:
http://free-electrons.com/doc/ChangeLog (still visible for a few more days)
Even for translators, unless you follow changes on a day-by-day basis,
the ChangeLog is too difficult to handle, given the great and constant
number of changes.
To update translations, I guess the best way is to visually compare the
translated document with the updated master every six months or once a
year, and make updates only then. I guess this would represent much less
work at the end, compared to following every single change.
The translated documents are still valid anyway. They just correspond to
the translation of a given release, which is fine. Like for every
project, you have to be able to stop, say that you're done, and share it
with others.
Thanks for everything you've done so far!
:-)
Michael.

Salut Julien,
:-)
Michael.
