Hello Carl, Claude, Daniel, Elie, Frederic, Jean-Charles, Jean-Marc, Jérôme, Laurent, Marc, Nicolas, Philippe, Philippe, and Stéphane,
At the Translation Project you are listed as a member of the French team -- http://translationproject.org/team/fr.html .
There are, however, zero packages assigned to you. Are you thinking of translating any package in the foreseeable future? If so, which one? Or has your attention shifted to different things and can your name be removed from the list?
Regards,
Benno
I have already translated the lilypond-fr.po file and tried to post it. Unfortunately, the robot rejected my submission (Subject: TP-Robot lilypond-2.11.22.fr.po [REJECTED] [translator not assigned to domain] Date: Tue, 03 Jul 2007 19:12:03 +0200). I contacted the coordinator of the French team on July, 16th, asking him to officially assign me the French part of the LilyPond domain as I had mentioned on the disclaim form, but have got no answer until now.
I would be grateful if you could do anything to help my work being officially added to translations of the Free Translation Project, if I do not get any answer to my new try to submit it to the French team for proof-reading.
Regards,
Jean-Charles

Ah. When the team leader does not answer your mails, you may write to the TP coordinators directly. Lilypond is assigned to you now. (Don't be discouraged if the robot rejects your file at first: it is very picky about how the file header is filled in. Just correct the header and send the file again.)

Lilypond is a very specialistic program, so other translators are probably not able to judge the translations much. Also, in the past nine months the French team has made just three uploads, so it seems most of them have lost interest. :|
Anyway, you're assigned now. Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
Benno
